Christmas Lights Counting Mat

contamos las luces

A Christmas counting game that's calm, not another craft to clean up. Put the lights on the string, one at a time, and count them together. It feels like decorating.

The Christmas lights counting mat

From the Lights and Giving theme · math · 5-minute prep · free printable

You need

The printed mat and ten pom-poms to be the lights. Pick pom-poms too big to fit through a toilet paper tube.

Make it yours

Match each pom-pom to its circle color, or count the real lights on your tree or window after.

Safety: use pom-poms too big to fit through a toilet paper tube, and stay close with children who still mouth things.
